Initial Applicants - General Registration
To apply for CMTPEI registration as an initial applicant you must:
- Set up an account in the online registration system - HMS
- Complete all mandatory information in your profile
- Provide the details of your education OR a letter of good standing from your current registrar in a regulated Canadian jurisdiction
- Pass the Jurisprudence Exam
- Upload the Certificate of Insurance
- Upload a valid Criminal Record Screening results document
- Pay the application fee
- Pay the general registration fee
If you were out of the profession for more than three years after graduating, or do not have a minimum of 500 practice hours accumulated over three years before applying for registration with CMTPEI, you must complete a refresher course. Please to contact the College to find out which refresher courses are acceptable.
