Reporting a termination or suspension

Under Section 90.1(2) of the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA), employers must promptly report to the College of Massage Therapists of Prince Edward Island (CMTPEI) if they suspend or terminate a massage therapist—whether the engagement was full-time or part-time employment, or external (e.g., contractor or consultant)—due to misconduct, incompetence, or incapacity. This notification must be made to the College's Council without delay.
